Smoky Vibes
Our take on the classic paloma cocktail featuring smoky Dry Point Agave Spirit from Las Cruces, organic cold-pressed grapefruit juice from Verde Juices, and house-infused mint syrup
1 1/2 ounces Dry Point agave spirit
2 ounces Verde organic grapefruit juice
1/2 ounce fresh-squeezed lime juice
1/2 ounce fresh-squeezed lemon juice
1/2 ounce mint-infused simple syrup
Dehydrated grapefruit rimmer
Mint sprig and grapefruit wedge, for garnish
Syrup: Bring 1 cup each water and sugar to a boil. Remove from heat and add 15 fresh mint leaves to infuse. Let cool, then strain.
Rimmer: Peel a grapefruit and thinly slice. Bake slices until dehydrated. Use a blender or food processor to grind into powder.
The cocktail: Dip the rim of a margarita glass into the mint syrup, then into the grapefruit rimmer. Fill with ice and set aside. Shake agave spirit, juices, and syrup with ice in a cocktail shaker. Double strain into rimmed glass, then add mint sprig and grapefruit wedge.
